A small hamlet with charming cottages, a park and the great house, Arley Hall.
The original mansion was built in 1469, enlarged in the 16th century and encased in brick in 1758. An unknown architect, George Latham, was engaged by Rowland Egerton-Warburton, and a new mansion and chapel were built between 1832 and 1845 in the Jacobean style.
The house contains fine plasterwork and panelling, together with family furniture and pictures.
Beautiful parkland and gardens surround the hall.
