The Egerton Arms

The Egerton Arms is one of the great success stories to come out of 2009. Jeremy and Anne Hague were able to buy the freehold from Punch Taverns in October unleashing their leasehold status to become one of the best free houses near Knutsford.

They run a vibrant friendly rural countryside pub and serve tasty ‘cooked to order’ food. This is busy pub where you will need to reserve a table towards weekends. They have recently received the CAMRA pub of the season 2011 for the North East. They are dog friendly, welcome families with children and have a large garden with swings at the rear.

On Sundays they do a much raved about roast with all the trimmings where the beef is cooked to your liking.

They have recently started afternoon Teas with teacakes and scones, a take away pizza service and are open for food, all day every day.

Opening times: 12 noon till late (food until 9 pm)
