Marco Pierre White, Restaurateur and Ambassador for North West Food Lovers Festival:

Marco Pierre White

"Since opening a restaurant in Chester, I have been astounded by the rich diversity and the sheer excellence of food produce available in the North West. I am very much looking forward to the arrival of the North West Food Lovers Festival in October, which will provide a culmination of the very best producers, farmers and food produce shops available in the North. I have strong links with the North of England and fervently believe that the area is fortunate to have a high calibre of chefs along with fantastic local producers and seasonal ingredients. The festival's aim is to encourage people to shop locally and embrace the impressive choice of food on their doorstep. The Chef demonstrations will provide a lesson to onlookers, teaching them how to cook with the produce that is available to them. I am proud to say that amongst them will be the Head Chef of my Chester restaurant. I hope you will enjoy this special food and drink experience"
