Pickmere House is a Grade II listed former farmhouse dating back to 1772 situated in the centre of the village within walking distance of 2 local pubs.

The guest house is ideally placed for both business and leisure guests. Located in the middle of Cheshire within easy access of M6 junction 19 and M56 junction 10.
Knutsford and Northwich are within a 10 minute drive, Warrington 20 minutes, Manchester Airport 20 minutes, Liverpool John Lennon Airport 30 minutes. Chester, Manchester and Liverpool city centres are easily accessible.

Local attractions include: Arley Hall and Gardens, Tatton Park, Dunham Massey, Jodrell Bank, Oulton Park Racing Track, GoApe in Delamere Forest, Chester Zoo.

Public Transport Directions

Local train stations are:
Knutsford, Plumley and Northwich on the Manchester to Chester line
Crewe and Hartford on the London to Liverpool line
Warrington on the London to Warrington line
Please note it is advisable to pre-book a taxi to meet you at the station.
There are 5 local buses running each day from Knutsford to Northwich via Pickmere
Guests arriving on bicycles can house them in our boiler house which is locked over night.

Road Directions

M6 North & Southbound. Exit at juntion 19. Take A556 direction Knutsford/Northwich, but immediately turn right into Pickmere Lane at The Windmill pub marked to Pickmere and Arley Hall. Follow this road for 2 1/4 miles. Having arrived in the village turn right at The Red Lion pub into Park Lane. Continue along Park Lane for 100 yds and turn into our car park on the left. If you pass The Elms pub you have gone too far.
